ASCA North East deals with very sensitive issues and often vulnerable people - abusive or threatening emails will not be tolerated - we work closely with appropriate authorities in communicating all abuse or threatening behaviour.
We promise what you tell us will REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL. The only exceptions to this are that:
- If we become aware that someone is in imminent danger for instance, an identifiable child or adult - who is being abused now.
- or an instance of current drug dealing / terrorism / money laundering.
Under these particular circumstances we are by law compelled to report this information to the Police or other authorities. However where possible we will discuss this with you first.
